For Parents

Every game on Zipi is written from scratch by our team. No gore, gambling or violence against real people.

Accounts are optional

No sign-up, email or name is needed to play. High scores and recently played games are stored in your device's browser storage (localStorage). Players who want to keep progress, rate games and comment can sign up with Google or email; the data processed is explained on the Privacy page.

Online games and contact

Some 2-player games (chess, okey, checkers, backgammon, etc.) can be played with a friend on another device or a random opponent. These games have no chat; players can only send preset reaction icons and only a nickname is shown. If you want your child to play only with people they know, we recommend inviting friends with a room code.

Comments

Only members can comment, and members under 13 cannot comment at all. Every comment is checked automatically before it is published; inappropriate comments are blocked and any comment can be reported.

Ads and statistics

The site may show ads to stay free. Ads appear at natural breaks or when a player chooses to watch one (rewarded ads), never during play. We tell our ad partner the site has child-directed content, so personalized ads are not shown. Anonymous usage statistics (Google Analytics) use cookies only if consent is given in the cookie bar.

Screen time

Our games use short rounds. We recommend agreeing on a time limit together and playing the 2-player games side by side.
