About the game

Pishti is a classic Turkish card game played everywhere in Turkey, from coffee houses to family tables, with a standard 52-card deck, and this version follows the real rules exactly. At the start of every deal three cards are placed face down on the table with one face up on top, and each player gets four cards. On your turn you play one card: match the rank of the top card and you take the whole pile, while a Jack always captures it. If there is only one card on the table and you take it with the same rank, that is a PISHTI worth 10 points, and a Jack on a Jack pishti is worth 20. When the deal ends every Ace and every Jack scores 1, the two of clubs 2, the ten of diamonds 3, and the side with the most cards gets 3 more points; if the card counts are equal nobody gets those 3 points. Cards left on the table go to the last player who captured. In the menu you can set the target to 151 or 101 points. In Career mode you climb from Rookie to Grandmaster and the endless Legend levels against the computer. The bots count cards like a real player: they remember every card played, estimate what you might still hold, save their Jacks for a big pile and play the last round knowing exactly which cards are left. Win a match and the next level starts at once; lose and you can watch an ad to retry the same level. In the 2 vs 2 team mode you and the partner opposite you play against two rival bots. Online you can play a friend with a room code or invite link, or a random opponent from anywhere in the world; the player who creates the room shuffles the deck and each player only ever sees their own cards. A card counter always shows the unplayed Jacks and Aces and whether the two of clubs and ten of diamonds are still out.

How to play

  1. Pick a target in the menu (151 or 101 points), then start Career, 2 vs 2 or Online.
  2. On your turn tap a card in your hand: if it matches the rank of the top card, or it is a Jack, you take the whole pile.
  3. Take a single card on the table with the same rank for a PISHTI worth 10 points. A Jack on a Jack pishti scores 20.
  4. Save your Jacks for big piles and lead cards your rival cannot match onto an empty table; the card counter shows key unplayed cards.
  5. At the end of a deal Aces, Jacks, the 2 of clubs, the 10 of diamonds and most cards are scored. First to the target wins the match.

FAQ

What are the rules of Pishti and how is it scored?

Playing the same rank as the top card, or a Jack, takes the pile. Taking a single card with the same rank is a pishti worth 10 points, and a Jack on a Jack pishti is worth 20. At the end of a deal each Ace and Jack scores 1, the 2 of clubs 2, the 10 of diamonds 3 and most cards 3; on equal card counts nobody gets those 3 points. First to 151 or 101 wins.

Can I play Pishti online with a friend?

Yes. Choose Online, then Play with a friend and Create room, and send the five-character code or invite link. Find a world opponent matches you with someone who wants a game right now. Each player only sees their own hand and there is no chat.

How hard is Pishti against the computer?

On the first levels the bot forgets cards and makes mistakes. On higher levels it remembers every card played, calculates your chance of a pishti, saves its Jacks for big piles and searches for the best move in the last round knowing exactly which cards are left.
