About the game
Armored Brick Breaker moves the classic brick breaking game into a sci-fi hangar and makes it hard and fast. You drag the energy deflector at the bottom with your finger or move it with the arrow keys and bounce a glowing plasma ball into the armored panels above. Panels range from one-hit steel blue plates to titanium armor that takes four hits; cracks spread with every hit until the panel bursts into debris. Red panels with a warning sign are explosive and blow up everything around them, and if you hit the right spot you get slow-motion chain explosions. Yellow and black striped steel blocks never break and simply deflect the ball. Capsules dropping from broken panels give multi ball, twin lasers, a wide deflector, a fireball that pierces everything and a one-time safety shield. Panels broken in a row without touching the deflector build a chain multiplier. Levels change between pyramid, fortress, diamond and pillar layouts, and each level makes the ball faster and the armor thicker. Normal mode gives you three lives, while Hardcore gives you one life and a much faster ball. New deflector colors unlock as you reach higher levels. It is free and plays in the browser with no download.
How to play
- Choose Normal or Hardcore mode.
- Drag the deflector or use ←→; tap or press Space to launch the ball.
- Where the ball hits the deflector sets the bounce angle.
- Trigger chain explosions with explosive panels and bounce off unbreakable steel.
- Catch falling capsules and clear every breakable panel to finish the level.
