About the game
Cyber Snake takes the classic snake game to a dark cyber grid and turns it into a fast reflex challenge. Your snake glides across the screen like a glowing light trail; you steer it by swiping or with the arrow keys. Every pink data core you collect makes the trail longer and the speed rises step by step. Grab cores quickly one after another and the combo multiplier climbs up to x5, so every bite is worth more. Every so often red firewalls appear on the grid; they blink as a warning first, then turn solid, and hitting one cuts your connection. A yellow overclock core shows up from time to time and vanishes after a few seconds, so catch it for a big bonus. In Normal mode the screen edges wrap around and the snake comes out on the other side; in Hardcore the edges are deadly, the game starts faster and firewalls arrive twice as often. When you crash, the whole body blows up in a chain from head to tail. As your best score climbs, acid, plasma, gold and white heat trail colors unlock. It is free and plays in the browser on phone and computer with no download.
How to play
- Choose Normal or Hardcore mode.
- Steer the snake by swiping, tapping or using the arrow keys.
- Collect pink data cores; grabbing them quickly builds a combo.
- Blinking red squares turn into firewalls, so avoid them and your own trail.
- Catch the yellow overclock core before it vanishes and unlock new trail colors.
