About the game
Daily Word is a word guessing game where you try to find a hidden five-letter word in six tries, and the daily word is the same for everyone. Type a word and press ENTER: the tiles flip and change color. A green tile means the letter is in the right spot, a yellow tile means the letter is in the word but in a different spot, and a gray tile means the letter is not in the word at all. The on-screen keyboard remembers these colors, so you always know which letters you have already tried. In English mode the answers come from a list of common, family-friendly words, and thousands of valid guesses are accepted. In Daily mode a new word arrives every midnight. Your games played, win percentage, current streak and max streak are saved, and a guess distribution chart shows how you are improving. Share your result with friends using a spoiler-free emoji grid copied with a single tap. Don't want to wait? Switch to Unlimited mode: every word you solve takes you to the next level, a streak multiplier boosts your score, a timer kicks in at higher levels, and a new neon theme unlocks every five levels. Hard mode forces you to reuse revealed hints, and colorblind mode switches to high-contrast orange and blue. It is free, with no download or sign-up, and plays on phone, tablet and computer.
How to play
- Type any five-letter word and press ENTER.
- Green: right letter, right spot. Yellow: in the word, wrong spot. Gray: not in the word.
- Use the hints to find the hidden word within six guesses.

Is the daily word the same for everyone?
Yes. Everyone playing in the same language gets the same word on the same day, and a new word arrives every midnight.
Can I play more than once a day?
The daily word can be played once per day, but Unlimited mode lets you solve as many words as you like and keep leveling up.
