Slide neon-lit metal plates, slam matching numbers together and reach 2048. Beat records in time attack and hard mode!
About the game
2048 is the well-known number merging puzzle on a four by four board, rebuilt here with a dark, neon-lit and much tougher look. When you swipe or press an arrow key every metal plate slides the same way, and two plates showing the same number slam together, merge and double in value. As numbers grow, the neon edge of each plate heats up from cold blue to green, orange, red and finally white hot. Big merges throw sparks, shockwaves and screen shake, two or three merges in one move trigger DOUBLE and TRIPLE banners, and merging on consecutive moves builds a streak multiplier up to x5. There are three modes. In Classic you chase 2048 and can keep pushing to 4096. In Time Attack you get 120 seconds and every merge buys you extra time. In Hard mode a steel lock block drops onto the board every seven moves and fours spawn far more often. Each mode keeps its own best score, shown in a ranking table next to clearly labelled BOT rivals. Building bigger plates unlocks carbon, titanium and ember plate finishes. FAQ
How do you win 2048?
You win when you merge all the way up to a 2048 plate; you can then keep going for 4096.
What is the difference between the modes?
Classic has no timer, Time Attack lasts 120 seconds with merges adding time, and Hard drops steel lock blocks and spawns more fours.
What is the best strategy?
Keep your biggest plate in a corner, line the others up towards it and look for a merge every move to keep the streak multiplier alive.
