Play free Sudoku online: a new daily sudoku, five difficulty levels from easy to extreme, notes, hints and a career mode.
About the game
Sudoku is the classic logic puzzle where you fill a grid of nine rows, nine columns and nine 3×3 boxes with the digits 1 to 9. The rule is simple: every digit appears exactly once in each row, each column and each box. Sudoku Daily on Zipi puts that clean rule on a glowing neon tactical display. Every row, column and box you complete is swept by a wave of light, the whole board lights up in one burst when you finish, and the next puzzle opens straight away with no waiting screen. Every day everyone gets the same Puzzle of the Day. Monday starts easy, the week gets harder and Sunday brings an extreme sudoku. Solved days are marked in gold on the calendar and back-to-back days grow your streak counter, and you can tap any past day in the calendar to play a daily sudoku you missed. In Career mode you climb level by level: the first puzzles only need naked and hidden singles, then come locked candidates, naked and hidden pairs, X-Wing, Swordfish, XY-Wing and forcing chains in truly hard sudoku puzzles. In Free Play you pick Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert or Extreme and solve endless puzzles. Every puzzle has exactly one solution and its difficulty is graded by the solving technique it needs, so you never have to guess. Pencil marks, one-tap auto notes, undo, erase, highlighting of matching digits and of the row, column and box, remaining digit counters and a timer are all built in. When you get stuck, a hint reveals one cell and names the technique behind it, so you learn real sudoku strategies while you play. With mistake check on, three mistakes lock the puzzle, or switch it off and solve completely on your own. Play free sudoku online in your browser on phone or desktop, no download.

FAQ
Is the daily sudoku the same for everyone?
Yes. The Puzzle of the Day is generated from the date, so everyone playing that day solves the same grid. Solved days are marked on the calendar and grow your streak.
How are the difficulty levels decided?
Every puzzle has a single solution and is graded by the most advanced technique it needs: Easy uses singles, Medium locked candidates and pairs, Hard triples and X-Wing, Expert Swordfish and XY-Wing, and Extreme forcing chains.
What does a hint do?
A hint opens the next cell that can be found by logic and names the technique used. If there is a wrong digit it finds and clears that first. Every solved puzzle earns one more hint.
