About the game

Grapple Hero is a side-scrolling swing and flight game set high above a glittering city at midnight. You control a masked hero in a red scarf whose grapple gun fires a steel cable. Hold the screen and the hero shoots the cable at the best crane hook or steel beam within range and starts swinging like a pendulum. The moment you let go, the cable releases and the hero launches forward with all that speed. Timing is everything: let go just after the bottom of the swing as you start to rise and you get a long, high flight; let go too early or too late and you drop toward the busy street below. Staying in the air for a long time before grabbing a new hook gives an airtime bonus, and every new hook you chain grows your streak counter. Cyan energy crystals floating between the buildings give points, and rare gold crystals give a big bonus. As you go the hooks spread farther apart and the speed cap rises, with wind lines and speed trails showing how fast you are moving. Your best score is saved on your device. How to play

1. Hold: the hero fires the cable at the nearest hook and swings.
2. Let go: the cable releases and the hero launches forward.
3. Release just after the bottom of the swing while rising to fly the farthest.
4. Long flights earn a bonus, chained hooks build a streak.
5. Collect crystals; falling to the street ends the run.

Touch: hold the screen to fire the cable, lift your finger to let go. Keyboard: hold Space, Up arrow, W, Right arrow or D. P: pause.
