About the game
Neon Orb is a fast one-tap timing game set in a dark cyber void. You control a glowing plasma orb: every tap launches it upward, and if you stop tapping it falls. Your path is blocked by spinning energy gates built from four neon colors and by sliding laser barriers. The orb can only pass through the part of a gate that matches its own color; touch the wrong color and it shatters into shards and the run is over. Energy cores between the gates switch the orb's color, so you constantly have to rethink your route. Clear gates quickly one after another and your combo multiplier climbs to x2, x3 and all the way to x5, making every gate worth more points. Data shards in the gate centers give bonus points and extend your chain timer. After thirty seconds the overdrive phase kicks in: gates spin faster, double gates appear more often and some gates suddenly reverse their spin. Chase your high score for free in the browser, with one finger on a phone or the space bar on a computer, no download needed.
