About the game
Farm Tycoon: Egg Rush is a 3D idle tycoon game set on a sunny countryside farm. You start with a small yard, a few hens and an empty market stand. The hens lay eggs into a straw nest; walk over it and the eggs stack up on your back one by one, growing into a tall tower that sways with every step. Carry the tower to the packing machine and it fills crates with eggs. Haul the crates to the stand with the checkered tablecloth, where speech bubbles above the customers in the queue show how many crates each one wants. Every sale piles banknotes on the cash tile, and stepping on it sends them flying into your money counter. The crowd grows and shrinks during the day; if you cannot serve a waiting customer in time they get bored and leave, but the game never ends. Spend your cash on the locked tiles on the ground: stand on a tile, the price ticks down, and when the green fill is complete something new unlocks. More hens speed up production, a yellow egg chute connects the nest to the machine automatically, a worker carries crates to the stand and a cashier sells for you. New regions wait behind padlocked barns: wheat grows in the field and becomes bread in the oven, milk cans from the cow barn turn into cheese at the dairy, and apples falling from orchard trees become juice in the press. Each region brings a more valuable product and a bigger queue of customers. In the UPGRADE menu you can raise your carry capacity, walking speed, machine speed and sale price. Your progress is saved automatically, and when you come back your farm has earned a little money while you were away. Free to play with no download or sign-up on phone, tablet and computer.
How to play
- Put your finger anywhere on the screen and drag (or use W A S D / arrow keys) to walk the farmer.
- Walk over the straw nest: the eggs stack up on your back. Drop them on the tile in front of the packing machine.
- Pick up the crates that come out of the machine, stand behind the stand and sell them to customers.
- Collect the banknotes on the green cash tile and spend them by standing on the locked tiles on the ground.
- Unlock hens, a chute, a worker and a cashier, then open the padlocked barns to the wheat, cow and apple regions.
Controls
Touch: tap anywhere and drag; a virtual joystick appears and walks the farmer in the direction of your finger, and stops when you let go. Picking up, dropping, selling and paying happen automatically when you stand on a zone. Computer: walk with W A S D or the arrow keys, U opens the upgrade menu, P pauses.
FAQ
Can you lose in Farm Tycoon: Egg Rush?
No. It is an idle farm game with no timer, lives or game over. If you cannot serve a customer in time that sale is lost, but your farm keeps growing. If you want a fresh start, use the Start over button in the UPGRADE menu.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your money, unlocked tiles, upgrades and stored goods are saved to your device every few seconds, and backed up to the cloud if you are signed in. When you return you collect a small amount the farm earned while you were away, and you can optionally double it by watching an ad.
Which regions and products are there?
There are four regions: the egg farm (egg crates), the wheat field (bread), the cow barn (cheese) and the apple orchard (juice). Each region has its own machine, chute, worker and speed upgrade, and once everything is open you can keep growing your farm with upgrades.
